Welcome to the Tassajara Valley! Not long ago this area was a series of rolling hills dotted with family ranches. Blackhawk Country Club was developed on the 4600 acre Blackhawk Ranch in the 1970's. In the 1980's individual ranches such as Bettencourt Ranch, Magee Ranch and Wood Ranch were developed between Blackhawk and downtown Danville.

There are approx. 5000 homes in the Tassajara Valley, with more development under way. New construction includes Alamo Creek and Monterosso on the outer bounderies of the Tassajara Valley near the east gate of Blackhawk Country Club. The Tassajara Valley features highly rated San Ramon Valley schools and includes numerous parks and sports fields, with Sycamore & Diablo Vista being the largest.

Blackhawk Plaza with its' many restaurants, shops, galleries and Blackhawk Movies 7 is a great place for fun. Tassajara Crossing shopping center has everything a family needs and is anchored by a Safeway Super Store.
